Reid, Murdoch & Co. Building
While editing late one night, I discovered the story of the Eastland Disaster and was moved by the role of Chicago’s Reid Murdoch Building in the rescue efforts. Months later, during a visit to the city, I rushed to photograph the building, What was planned to be a lively, movement-filled shot shifted to a quiet tribute to honor its history. The experience became a reminder that knowing a place’s past can reshape how we choose to frame the present.
Autonomous Tent
The Autonomous Tent at Treebones was a photographer’s dream—its unique shell-like design set against Big Sur’s dramatic cliffs made for endless compositions. Days were spent scouting angles, chasing light, and capturing the way the structure blended into its rugged surroundings.
